We are very happy to announce Radar Macleay as Dog of the Month for February 2012!
A three year old Jack Russell, Radar is built like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Jack Russell Terriers were originally bred to hunt foxes but they have become the choice breed for many across America.
When Radar began at 4 Paws he had many confidence issues but through his owner’s hard work, obedience classes, and some help from day school, he has turned a new leaf. No longer will you find Radar hiding in a corner afraid, he is always out with the crowd participating and interacting with the other dogs!
When Radar began he also had a problem with aggression towards people and thanks to the hard-working attitude of his owner, Heather, he has overcome that issue at 4 Paws.
Radar has a strong understanding of our positions, positions in motion, and is currently working on obtaining his American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen certification. The staff at 4 Paws is proud of your accomplishment!
