George Preuss

March 1st, 2012

George came to us as an over-stimulated out of control one-year-old Chocolate Lab dragging his owner face first behind him. He had no idea how to settle down and control himself enough to do what he wanted to do which was (and still is) pleasing his owners. His true personality couldn’t come out because it was buried under a pile of anxiety, over-stimulation and lack of control. Even his coat was a mess, different collars and textures. He is currently enrolled in our foundation program, attends day school a few times a week and is on a good quality food.

They jumped in feet first and are fully embracing our training, socialization, and nutrition guidance. Thanks to the adherence to our training systems, utilization of all our resources, and the dedication of his owners , he is really coming around. Not only has his coat become a uniform color and texture but his whole demeanor has improved. He is learning how to control himself in all sorts of distracting situations, how to listen and obey commands, and his great personality is really beginning to shine through. He is also more confident in himself and his owners.

They are on the track to having a dog that can go anywhere anytime and have the freedom of being off leash but still safe.

Congratulations from the 4 Paws crew and community, George!
