After two years and 10 months of trying to best his brother (Mike Tyl’s Charlie) Buoy Marro has finally done it. And it is not by being DOTM first coincidently Charlie was DOTM June 2011.
Buoy is a great chocolate Lab who has been attending classes and day school here at 4 Paws since he was a little puppy. With the consistent work of his owners he has not only been able to be a dog that can go anywhere with them but he can also greet and help guests to their u-pick blueberry farm.
Most importantly, on 5.23.12, he finely surpassed his brother by passing his AKC Canine Good Citizen. Now Buoy is not one to gloat but I am sure he will be issuing a formal challenge to Charlie to see if he can pass the CGC.
We love having him around and we hope that you all get a chance to meet him someday soon. But please try to hold back your lavish praise, we don’t want his head to get too big. You are certainly entitled to a pat on the back, Deb and Buoy!
